I'm not an artist, just someone filling holes in the more obscure, 8/16-bit popular-in-the-uk computer areas. Seems like a lot of #Retrogaming focus is on Sega/Nintendo consoles.

The C64/Speccy/Miggy need more old-school love on the scraping databases.

@steamdeckhq

Has anybody else tried this SteamGridDB + SGDBoop hack to get custom images for your Steam Library?
I still have at least one game with a blank image in Big Picture Mode (or whatever they call it now) on my SteamDeck.

There's a treasure trove of customization options within Steam that can turn a bland library into something unique to you.

I have made custom Cover Art of Beat Saber using the official Cover Art to include the different versions of Beat Saber. i have gone ahead and published them on SteamGridDB https://www.steamgriddb.com/profile/76561198111688063/grids

these are versions I have played in the past or currently play... I don't mind making them for any versions. just ask.

Man I really wish #steamgriddb would adapt something like #screenscraper when it comes to adding new content. Like really wish they would just reference some #nointro dats or something for older games instead of rebuilding the wheel here
Alright so, anyone using the #SteamGridDB #SteamDeck plugin, you'll need to remove the default artwork under Manage before it'll let you add a custom one. Good to know.
Holy crap I finally got #thewitcher 2 running on my #SteamDeck. I downloaded and installed the Windows GOG build from Heroic Launcher. Had to download a program called The Witcher Tweaker to change the graphic settings, as I could never get the launch menu to start. Had to change the shortcut executable to the actual game to bypass the launch menu. Downloaded artwork from #steamgriddb. Run using Proton Experimental. But it runs! Never played it before, or any Witcher, so I'm excited!
