Houston ISD’s overall ‘B’ rating means district is ‘extraordinarily close’ to ending state takeover
“We’re looking for an assurance that the multi-year unacceptable academic performance is a thing of the past. That may occur as soon as next year, given the progress that we’ve seen,” said Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath.
