Jett Reno is the best engineer in Star Trek and I will die on this hill. Scotty had miracles, O’Brien had suffering, B’Elanna had rage, Trip had charm, but Reno has sarcasm, duct tape, and the ability to keep a starship running with whatever she found in a crashed shuttle. Tig Notaro turned a recurring guest role into an absolute icon. Put some respect on Commander Reno’s name. 🔧✨

Just watched my first episode and I have to admit

I loved it!

I loved Holly Hunter’s character, even the cadets and the love letter to #SanFrancisco

Although I am confused. Is Starfleet Academy in San Francisco or Marin?
I don’t recognize the skyline of the city at all! The let’s go to San Francisco line did bring me to tears though. This was the first time in a very long time I felt a little optimistic. Thank you #StarTrek
