Drupal CMS will be developed alongside the traditional "Drupal Core" platform.

It's the culmination of the "Starshot Initiative" announced last May as a response to (some legitimate!) criticisms that Drupal was too difficult and user unfriendly.

I've been returning to do some work in Drupal over the past couple years and am finding a lot to be inspired by and hopeful for in this new initiative.
