Kalamuna helps transform mission-driven organizations by empowering them with strategy, design, and the technology they need to increase their impact

A university's digital presence spans enrollment, academic departments, research centers, and everything in between. Holding all that complexity together accessibly is genuinely hard. Drupal does that.

We unified decades of Stanford Humanities Center scholarship into one site so anyone can engage with the ongoing human project of shaping culture and making meaning.
We're honored to have this work featured on drupal.org

Stanford Humanities Center's Digital Hub: Transforming Humanities Research

Drupal is an open source platform for building amazing digital experiences. It's made by a dedicated community. Anyone can use it, and it will always be free.

Happy Kalaversary @mikemccaffrey !

Mike is our Senior Architect and a passionate voice for accessibility. His recent macro photography gets him impossibly close to things most people step over. The little things you wouldn't expect such a big guy to bend down and see. But the size of the heart is proportionate to the size of the man.

Cheers to more years of championing the smallest, most easily overlooked things, whether they have wings, legs, leaves, or a screen reader.

Happy Kalaversary, Eugene!

Robert L. Peters said "Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future."

Eugene infuses this idea into everything she does, from the Gentle Density Toolbox for Small Housing BC to the admissions website redesign for University of Toronto Scarborough.
She creates strong foundations that others can build on.

Happy Kalaversary, Eugene! We're so glad you're on the team. Cheers to designing the future together!

Moving a website from one platform to another is painstaking work that can consume months of development time.

On May 14th, Rob Loach will be at the Drupal AI Summit in New York City to share how AI can make Drupal site migrations more efficient, practical, and manageable.

We're proud to have Rob contributing his insights to a community of peers gathering to work through exactly these kinds of problems together.

A website that's hard to navigate isn't just frustrating, for non-English speakers and people with low literacy, it can mean going without healthcare entirely.

Working alongside After Bruce, we helped Multnomah County Health Department build a multilingual, accessible Drupal website so more people can find the care they need.

Everyone should have access to healthcare.

Most folks don't interact with the justice system by choice. And when they do, understanding what's happening can feel overwhelming.

On May 8, @mallis joins Tim Dibble, Judge Mark Shea, and Demetrie E. Ford Sr. at the Code for America Summit to talk about how open-source technology can help people see, understand, and manage their cases online.

Helping people navigate the systems that govern their lives is a civic duty.

No one likes it when your plane makes a u-turn back to the terminal. Nothing ruins a launch like pushing code you thought was ready, only to have CI send it right back.

Bob McDonald's Stanford WebCamp session shows Drupal developers how to run the pre-flight checklist first.

Happy 4-year Kalaversary to Kristina! She started building websites at 8 years old and never stopped. In classic Kristina fashion, she did not need permission to get good at something.

She builds things that work right and feel right. She notices the gaps, fills them quietly, and makes everyone around her more capable.

Cheers to more years of being abnormally amazing. Happy Kalaversary, Kristina!

The goal was to help students find their way to the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). Shout out to The Drop Times for covering how we helped them get there.

Working alongside UTSC's internal team, we helped strengthen the digital admissions journey from interest to enrollment, and built an application experience worthy of the institution behind it.

See what The Drop Times had to say about it:

Kalamuna Redesigns UTSC Admissions Site with Unified Program Finder

Kalamuna has restructured the University of Toronto Scarborough’s admissions platform, replacing fragmented programme pages with a unified Program Finder and a more coherent site architecture. The redesign focuses on simplifying navigation and improving programme discovery for prospective students, though the case study provides limited quantitative evidence on performance or conversion outcomes.

Happy 6-year Kalaversary to Anya!
Some people find the light. Anya builds the switch.

She's our Director of Technology, though if you asked her to describe herself she'd still say "Drupal Developer." She taught herself to code, then taught herself to lead, then started making sure everyone around her had what they needed to do the same.

She celebrates curiosity, not just outcomes. Six years of that kind of light. Here's to many more!
