You know what's neat about animated #StarTrek shows like #StarTrekLowerDecks and #StarTrekProdigy?

The aliens actually look alien!

Live-action shows suffer from the rather serious limitations of animatronics, composited CGI, and the fact that most actors are human.

Animated shows have no such limitations. Want a bipedal cat that actually moves like a cat? A giant rock creature? A creature that's just a cloud of sentient glowing gas inside a suit? Can do!

It's been a long road. getting from there to here. But this time is finally here. The watch parties and campaigning paid off. I just hope the same can be done for #ScavengersReign.

I am surprised & disappointed to hear about the cancellation of "Star Trek: Prodigy". I really enjoyed the show & appreciated its focus on introducing younger generations of viewers to the franchise. I hope the show will be picked up by another company so we can see more adventures of the Protostar crew. 🖖
