An officer was struck by gunfire during an overnight standoff, but the bullet hit the police radio on his vest, saving him from any injuries, according to Lt. Luciano Lopez of the Stafford Police Department. He said a man was found dead in the backyard of a home in the Houston suburb, and another man was found dead inside the home from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
