This is what progress looks like.

#WillowTheSprocker is not trying to maul, chase, or otherwise harass Benedict Gingercat. (In this one precise moment.) She is learning “leave it” and “calm”.

It’s for her own safety, honestly. Ben is a #MaineCoon cross and is bigger than the #puppy. For now.

It should also be noted that Ben is being a complete dick about it all and doing such things as drinking out of the dog’s water bowl - I’ve had him for 9 years now and he has NEVER drank out of a bowl before now - and sitting on whatever piece of furniture is above where the dog is lying, dangling his tail down and wafting it in front of the dog to make her want to chase it. Dog gets reprimanded and cat strolls away. Smirking.

How about a #pupdate? #WillowTheSprocker is now 14 weeks old and had her second vaccinations today. Only a week to go before she can explore the outdoors.

She now weighs a touch over 6kg. Growing fast and training very well indeed.

#WillowThePuppy is now 11 weeks old and life is good. I’ve had her for 8 days and so far we have nailed crate training, toileting outside only, sit, wait, come, leave it, follow, and recall to the whistle. Oh, and ‘break’, which is essentially code for ‘well done you can stop the previous command’.

She waits on command for her food too, which I’m super happy about given how food oriented she is!

We’ve been out in the car every day getting her used to that, and have parked up in various car parks for 15 minutes at a time with us both sitting in the open boot getting her used to cars, trains, people and… shopping trolleys. 😁

She’s officially a Good Girl.

This is Willow. She is a 10 week old #Sprocker. She’s been here precisely three hours and is currently asleep in her crate. It’s going far better than anticipated so far!

Now for a #Seahawks win, following a #MCFC win earlier and we can officially call it A Good Day.

Strange that the majority of tin cans Ruby's brings home with us are empty energy drink cans. You'd have thought that after consuming the contents the owner of said can would have the strength to take the can home with them.
