Great question!
I'd go with "splainer". The "splain" as a genre is predominantly carried out from men to women, hence the famous "mansplaining" term. Notwithstanding, it can be done from any gender towards any gender, leading to the suggested broader usage "splain".
Oh, and yes you are right: the above sounds quite like a splain itself.
