It's fascinating how when I say "I don't like men who do [objectively negative thing]", how many men will jump up and yell about it while still believing they're a good guy.

Like, I said something about not liking men who think they're saying something thoughtful and profound, but they're actually being mundanely condescending.. and the number of men self-owning in response to that is astounding.

I guess hit dogs holler, and all that.

A guy from Fetlife has found my VANILLA insta.. which is fine. I don't feel any sort of way about it.

BUT.

He's commented on one of my (once again..) VANILLA pictures. It's just a picture of my face, but he's made sexual comments about wanting to see where "all" my piercings are. It's fucking creepy to make sexual comments on non-sexual pictures without consent.

He's then commented again, asking me if I'm going to be attending either of the munches being held at [pub name] on [date] or [other date]. He specifically mentions they're Fetlife events.

This is not only outing me on a public platform, but it also tells everyone where I might physically be on these two dates.

This is potentially putting me in very real danger. But I'm sure he'd insist that he's a nice guy.

It's not good enough, guys.

Fucking do better.

Nach dem Wochenende im Camper besuche ich gerade die Waschküche der Kur. Ich ernte diese typischen Blicke und sofort stehen mir drei Mütter zur Seite. Sie erklären mir, wie die Waschmaschinen funktionieren, dass ja 1200 Schleuderumdrehungen reichen, welches Programm für meine Wäsche, die ich ja gar nicht sortiert habe, was sehr schlecht ist, das richtige ist und dass sie mir ja ihr Waschmittel empfehlen, Lidl sei nun wirklich schlecht.

Das ist also dieses mansplaining.
