As a longtime #Spiderman fan— was buying the comics back in the 90s— I think it's wild how the #Venom movies rewrote the rules for the symbiote.

How the symbiote costume plays in the new #Spiderman2Game is consistent with those movies, and totally new for the symbiote [quasi-]character (which dates back ~40yr in the comics).

Now wild bruising black goo pseudopods are the main thing it does, and spidey even throws black goo in place of weblines to swing from buildings. Total reinvention
