Today was the Winter Solstice.
The original plan for this weekend was to recover our various #solargraph cameras from around Gingin.
Then we got Covid.
So, as we isolate and recover, I popped a #SolarcanPuck into the window above my sick bed, which conveniently points North.
So Happy Solstice, and Happy #SolarCanDay :)

#Solargraph from my Rooftop Movies #solargraphy project. This one is a #SolarcanPuck looking West from the South end of the outdoor cinema #Artrage set up on the roof of the Roe St carpark in #Northbridge.
This camera was set up for three weeks.
Things to look out for:

Six Months with a Puck
Just after winter solstice to today. At the top you can see the anemometer of my weather station. This is looking out over the roof of my house.
This has the most amazing colours of all the solargraphs I have ever taken.
This is a three month #solargraph taken at the #Gingin #GravityDiscoveryCentre .
This was taken with a #SolarcanPuck attached to the underside of the #RadioTelescope they have there. About six weeks in, they rotated the dish, resulting in two distinct sets of sun trails, at about 90 degrees. Scanned with #PhotoScan and processed in #Snapseed.
Recovered a suburban camera now that I am allowed to walk short distances. This one was set up about 3 weeks ago - there is still very little movement in the solar arc.
