I had heard of dog's mental games and exercises, like puzzles and "snuffle mats". But, I never knew too much about them, and because I never saw them used in real life, I had no idea if they would be something that Arwen would enjoy. Arwen was very laid back, and never seemed to care much for any toys, besides her balls and "lighthouse" (a floating toy, that she loved to retrieve at the waterside), I never really informed myself on these things. When I learned that Koa was "tested" as having an alpha personality, I had to look up more about that, as I never had a male Lab before, and my galls had not been alpha personalities for sure. One of the things that I found was, that they said that games, like the snuffle mat, would help the dog to release some of his energy, and it would give him something to do.
