Forgot to give you a (of course spoiler-free) review on »#SpiderMan: #FarFromHome«.

I liked »Homecoming« a lot better. This time, it's too much high scool, a villain motivation that feels subpar and non-optimal pacing – especially in the middle section.

However, it's still an entertaining movie that I could enjoy. Sadly, I feel like it's a movie you can easily skip and read a few sentences about without missing pretty much anything for future #MCU projects. #SneakReview

After watching »Anna« yesterday, I'm finally mad at Luc Besson. After »Lucy«, this is his second movie that (from the trailers) appears to be an entertaining action movie but turns out to just be a weird and uninspired movie that takes itself way too serios. :D #SneakReview

Finished watching »#Chernobyl« yesterday. Really great piece, using the format of a mini-series in pretty much the best way possible.

It's thrilling, depressing and informative. Great optics, amazing pacing. If you can stand the misery and sorrow of the topic, I can definitely recommend watching it. #SneakReview

Just a heads-up: #Brightburn is even worse than the trailers suggested. Uninspired, predictable and flat.

You should probably spend your time and money on something else. :) #SneakReview

I happened to watch #Endgame on premiere day today. Seriously, the way they managed to bring all the movies to an (intermediate) end, is pretty remarkable. Also, how #Marvel managed to make all those lighthearted movies culminate in the last two #Avengers movies.

I really liked the tone, the ideas and the plot in general.

If you followed Marvel, you'll see it anyways. If you didn't, you don't. But, if you do: It's definitely worth the watch. :) #SneakReview

I also saw »Green Book« recently. Not much to say about it, really.

If you saw one trailer, you know pretty much exactly what you get. Everyone knows their craft, the movie works pretty well, but there are no surprises or risks being taken.

Solid feel-good movie with an important message (obviously) and a great example of cognitive dissonance. Nothing more, though. #SneakReview

#SneakReview: »Greta«

Definitely one of the candidates for my “wasted potential“ category this year. A lot of interesting ideas to give the Horror genre a new spin, but sadly, both script and execution lack subtlety and intelligence. Therefore, a lot of scenes end up being involuntarily funny.

I saw »#TheUpside« yesterday. Even though »#Intouchables« didn't need a remake and the Americanization was somewhat over the top, the movie was still quite funny and entertaining.

I was especially surprised by Kevin Hart's performance, who is usually a pretty good indicator for a bad comedy. #SneakReview

Yesterday, I watched »Flatliners«. Today I'm wondering what kind of movie executive would hire Ellen Page if they wouldn't even bother to hire decent screenplay writers.

The movie has so many subpar scenes that could've easily been fixed with almost no additional effort, but apparently, nobody cared.

I hate seeing potential being wasted like that. As you might have guessed already, no recommendation from my end. :) #SneakReview
