Examples of despicable actions perpetrated during Japanese elections that could have been funded by the so-called "slush funds" -- at the heart of a scandal:

- troll farm (one that was under the nickname "Dappi" at that time) paid by the government on Twitter, to skew the public opinion in favor of the dominant political party,

- noisy and aggressive bikers (paid to do that?) that trailed left-parties' campaign vehicles, with the revving and modified exhausts covering what the left parties were saying over their speakers, and also thus intimidating the staff by their mean behavior,

- literally every single car-park in Japan has LDP's (the dominant party) posters stuck on their walls/fences (is this paid through shady funds?), and same for many corporations on the walls of their premises,

- and so on...

Fuck sake. These people have far too much money on hand to donate to their favoured #GOP #SuperPACs. That is before we even get into the millionaires & billionaires donating to the other party of Capital.

I can think of more productive ways of getting across the message - Take out a full page spread in NYT 'We demand to pay more tax! Otherwise we are just going to piss all our cash up against the wall'.
