share the issue you’re having.

I feel that NixOS is unparalleled but it takes dedication.
Once something works, it just works; delivers what Docker pretends to.

For me, flakes allow me to lock in my dev env & builds.

That said, I can’t help but think that #Nix is the precursor to something ideal.
The only thing standing in Nix’s way is the stack they chose long ago.
IMO, Nix being untyped was a mistake.

Well yeah, #systemD is a big too monolithic and... written in C for a modern project. It has a ton of very cool features though (see in the image)

I am currently finishing my #NixOS setup, something systemd-less like #SixOS would be cool to try though.

Oh! That's why I haven't heard about it before! It just pop out of the #38c3 which took place very recently.
