Working with @june and playing with her little esoteric bit-oriented multistack VM. After going back and forth with her, I found the language when restricted to just one stack is less powerful than a PDA. Which lead me to asking "What would be less powerful than a Type-3 Grammar (Regular Language)". Apparently, some other people have asked the same thing and wrote about it.
