Got this lovely jig from Shannon Heaton last month. “Wise Nora”: https://youtu.be/RjN56EkF3KE
"The Old Wooden Bridge” by Vincent Broderick. While I've listened to it a bunch on Nathan Gourley and Laura Feddersen’s and The Consequences’ albums, my initial version was straight from Broderick's tunebook, and then Shannon Heaton suggested some tweaks to liven up the first measure.
"James Kelly’s” hop jig. Got this from Shannon Heaton, have been working on it on both flute and box, but the flute version's a bit more polished this week. https://youtu.be/9sVBdZhXy_0
Sunday afternoon I played a dance at the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival with Josh Kinn of Kinnfolk. Since we met for the first time about five minutes beforehand, there were some hasty negotiations on what tunes we had in common. (“Yes, The Castle is a great jig, but I can't play it!”) We settled on "Willie Coleman’s”, and then the caller decided to repeat the figure, so we played it through 12+ times.
Here's a classic Paddy Killoran reel which featured in a classic Bothy Band set -- "The Enchanted Lady”. https://youtu.be/0uDGtTA_PXE
Here's another hornpipe from Mike Rafferty, this time from his album Speed 78, "Tomgraney Castle":
Just realized I still had a syncopation to get a breath stuck in my version of Farewell to Erin (#2, the one also called Austin Tierney's). Stupid old bad habits lingering on...
Emile Benoit's crooked version of "Paddy O'Rafferty's".

I got "The Flowing Tide" from Mike Rafferty at a workshop back in 2006. One of my favorite hornpipes.
