Houston lawyer accused of filing affidavit signed by dead man says it’s a case of mistaken identity
In a Feb. 18 show cause order, U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen said attorney Eric Dick needed to explain why he allegedly filed an affidavit signed by an expert who had been dead for more than 10 months. Dick had not formally responded as of Monday, court records show.
