Es gibt Thriller, die noch an den Mythos der rationalen Ordnung glauben, Serienmorde als Puzzle lösen und Ermittlungen als intellektuelles Spiel genießen. Am Ende steht dann meistens irgendeine Wahrheit, sauber rekonstruiert, so als hätte Gewalt etwa eine präzise Logik. Genau in der Tradition bewegt sich auch dieser Film von Afonso Poyart. Er will düster sein, philosophisch, fast metaphysisch. Doch unter seiner Oberfläche steckt ein erstaunlich konservatives Weltbild über Schuld, Wissen und Kontrolle. The Troy-Abed storyline is (surprisingly) the weak link here. But it ends really, really well.

The rest is gold. The Jeff-Pierce plot goes to some deep and thoughtful places, totally nails it, and is funny also.

First episode for #CraigCackowski as the security guy.
