Watching some old episodes of NYPD Blue. I've had a bit of a Breaking Bad sweepstakes. I've seen Anna Gunn, Aaron Paul, and Dean Norris, so far.

I'm working my way through Season 2 of NYPD Blue.

David Caruso apparently wasn't too happy to return and got out of his contract, leaving after 4 episodes. He looks uncharacteristically disheveled in the first episode of the season. And although he remains professional with his other actors, he's mostly working on his own, which makes me wonder if there was animosity on set. Almost every charcter that was previously connected to him in season 1, suddenly disappears from the series, except for one ex-cop. He's also written out in a way that he could have returned, but I don't believe he ever does. His character is simply transfered to another station.

By the way, a young Paul Giamatti appears for a few seconds in Season 2, episode 8 as a homeless man. It's a blink and you miss him appearance, but his voice is distinctly noticable.

There seemed to be more recognizable stars showing up in Season 2.
