Yesterday - a visit with a mate just up the road to see the visiting Gull-billed Tern at Shapwick Heath, Somerset. We had good views of the bird and also Bittern, Hobby, GW Egret, Marsh Harrier and Cuckoo so not a bad day out.

A visitor from across the pond. A male American Wigeon spent most of its time with its head tucked away; when it did take a look around, its colour showed nicely. Pictured with an Eurasian Wigeon.
A male Marsh Harrier was quartering the reeds and kept 'stall diving'.
