Just used the #ServiceWA app getting ready for the $100 petrol rebate. Any way thought I would check unclaimed money section. Nothing for me but I tend to keep an eye on it so I started looking family. So far I have found 2 possibly 3 and one is for over $1000. So I’m giving them all a heads up. Things I do for my family. 🙂‍↕️

That was pretty quick - claimed the WA Student Assistance Payment for young Bugalugs on Tuesday and it's just come through #WesternAustralia #WA #WASAP #ServiceWA

The Government of #WesternAustralia have released a new version of their application #ServiceWA.

This application was created during #COVID and it simply aggregated information from other Websites.

The company developing #ServiceWA, GenVis, is the same that developed the infamous #G2G application. #G2G was controlled by the State Police, who recently decided to change the data retention period from 30 days to 25 years!

GenVis are an AI startup focused on face identification and data reidentification. I find it peculiar that a company that develops surveillance technology are in charge of these CRUD Government applications.

The point is that the State Government decided to revamp their useless #ServiceWA as yet another bushfire alert tool (of which there is no shortage) based on your location. The Government has already confirmed that these location data will be retained for an unclear period of time and shared with law enforcement agencies as required.
