Continuing to work through this year's craft projects
In October we made jam jar lanterns and paper pumpkins
Our second December project was painting wooden stars.
We use acrylic paint pens which makes it much easier for the residents

Had a trial run today of making paper pumpkins for the craft classes
Used strips of Halloween. Autumn and coffee themed craft paper with twisted tissue stalk and leaves
In July we were painting acrylic pendants and making paper sunflowers. We made pompoms for the centre of the flowers
Time to start preparing for April's classes.
140 eggs in 4 sizes: 3, 4, 5 & 6 cms.
All have had a coat of gesso, I'll check tomorrow for any missed spots and then bag 10 for each of the 14 classes.
They'll be decorated with marker pens and stick on crystal tiles

We'll definitely be making pompoms again, the residents have loved them.
I learnt today that the bottle tops from school milk was originally card with a hole for the straw, making them ideal for pompoms
