While it's great that Rhodes was handed such a lengthy sentence, it's really important to keep in mind that, if Donald Trump manages to win the 2024 election, the very first thing he's going to do is pardon Rhodes, and every other person who was convicted related to the January 6th Insurrection. It cannot be overstated how damaging that would be to the country, and the perception the world has of America.
