Does anyone else own a Seagull Merlin/M4 and can tell me about whether you oil it once in a while or do anything else to keep the wood in good shape, while not destroying the satin finish? I have the version with a mahogany top here and it feels a bit too dry for my liking.

Could someone please enlighten me on the shortage of the Seagull Merlin/M4 in Europe? I told my mum I'd buy her one of those too, but it seems I was lucky to get one of the last few ones with mahogany cover early this year. Now and then I see offers pop up e.g. in Switzerland but for almost twice the previous price.
And for myself I'd love to add one tuned to G, but no chance.
