@bigbookenergies #ScoutComics Cissy and The Deviant are great tho, new releases that are like, opposite ends of the horror spectrum. Cissy is basically Ted but he has to save his kid from the terror of the unknown, really weird but works! The Deviant is about a murder during Christmas revolving around the gay man who (apparently) committed it, and the man writing an article about him. Really dark but intriguing mystery setup

Four issue 1s that didn’t pan out for similar reasons. #Voyagis, #TheForged and #Triskele definitely have an appeal with a wide audience, I just failed to connect with world and characters presented unfortunately. All three have EXCELLENT artistic talent on them as well! #TheSildCosmos was a bit different, the art, while interesting, was sparse, and the plot was inconsistent in pacing and information, can’t recommend it. (Or try reading all the issues at once)

This is an interesting experiment, iirc #ScoutComics is running this “Nonstop” imprint as a sort of one and go deal, these are either previously independently published or already finished prior to up the issue one’s coming out, then a couple months after a trade is published! I didn’t know this but I had a bunch of them so I went and player into the marketing to see what’s up. (Thread ⬇️)
