Hype for the Future 114F: Village of New Boston, Ohio

Overview The Village of New Boston is located directly along the Ohio River and, with the exception of the river, is entirely surrounded by the City of Portsmouth within Scioto County, Ohio. Today, the community is primarily oriented along the Ohio River and Route 52, at the southern terminus of Route 139 connecting the community with the Village of Minford followed by the City of Jackson within Scioto and Jackson Counties.

Overview Within the State of Ohio, Route 335 refers to a specific state route located between the Cities of Waverly (north) and Portsmouth (south). Today, the highway is a more easterly route between the two communities relative to Routes 23 and 104, connecting the two (2) communities via the communities of Omega, Beaver, and Minford.
