Hi all, grew up fundamentalist and have been deconstructing since moving to Japan as a "missionary" in 2008. Cultural integration and wanting to love like Jesus (ironically) was the beginning of the erosion, which became an avalanche of doubt 6 mo. ago when I learned Derek Webb (my homeboy on the fringes!) didn't believe anymore. I've been consuming a steady diet of #sciencemike #theliturgists and #realscience ever since. I'm still pretty angry, but at peace with this middle space
