Remember when The Liturgists podcast and their community spun up a fedi instance? What ever happened to them, I don't see the on the TL anymore. #fedihistory #liturgists

Greeting, #Liturgists / earthlings. I just became a patron of The Liturgists on Patreon. Now I'm confused. Does this give me the ability to log in to theliturgists.com on the web and access communities, podcasts, Sunday Thing, etc., from there? Or must I go through the app on my phone? And if so, how do I find All The Things (tm)? Thanks.
Question, largely for #Liturgists: Someone in a chain of friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friends asked me if I had heard of some kind of alt-Episcopal service of praise-singing, clapping, drumming, etc., that was sort of like Taize, sort of "Sufi-ish," but had a name with "a lot of C's in it, like chimichanga or cannoli" (hey, I'm just repeating what they said πŸ™„ ), possibly a person's name or place name. And it wasn't "Taize" and it wasn't "Charismatic." Anybody have an idea what this might be?
I am completely new to this so I don't know what I am doing. I am a deconstructed christian and I am interested in buddhism. I have been listening to a podcast on secular buddhism. What should I read regarding philosophy and what should I read regarding beginner practices? #liturgists
How do I find other people in this #liturgists instance? Do I have to just see all the people @mike follows?
How many of you #liturgists around here are also songwriters/musicians? I'd love to hear some of your work and make a community for those of us who write music about liturgist-y type things.
Does anyone else get frustrated with or bitter about or turned off by the whole "When God closes a door, He opens a window"? Or even just a slightly more secular "When one door closes, another one opens." This phrase really gets to me because it's not really true and I no longer believe in an interventionist God. #theliturgists #liturgists #frustrated #pessimist or #realist?

My good friends are leaving their non-affirming #UMC and are struggling to find an LGBTQ+ accepting church in Katy / Fulshear area (Texas).

Any advice? I told them I’d ask my amazing #liturgists instance for suggestions.
