The trawler arrived at the island’s northern beach around 11am, Teknaf Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sheikh Ehsan Uddin told The Business Standard.

In August 2018, a study reported that the Burmese military and local Buddhists had k*lled over 24,000 Rohingya since the start of the "genocide" on August 25, 2017.

The study also highlighted that more than 18,000 Rohingya women & girls had been r*ped, 116,000 had been beaten, and 36,000 had been burned alive. In the initial month of the crackdown, at least 6,700 to 7,000 Rohingya, including 730 children, were killed.
