For the last decade, we have fought to save Loch Lomond from Flamingo Land's destructive mega-resort plan. Today, their plans have been rejected!

Just read an email saying that the Scottish Government has extended Flamingo Land's exclusive contract for land at Loch Lomond, paving the way for an attempt to overturn the rejection of their mega-resort plans.

Honestly, so fed up with them and beyond disappointed with the SNP in government that they would take this step and prolong this saga against the wishes of tens of thousands of Scottish people who have objected to it.

The Scottish Government have just extended Flamingo Land’s exclusive contract for land at Loch Lomond, paving the way for an attempt to overturn the rejection of their mega-resort plans.

In September, the Scottish Greens #SaveLochLomond campaign secured a massive win when the board of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park unanimously rejected Flamingo Land’s plans for a destructive mega-resort on the southern shore of the Loch at Balloch.

It looks like the campaign will have to go on!
