With me about to hit the big Wizard-level up, I wanted to do several art pieces to pay respect to those that have inspired me the most. And doing fanart of "The Legend of Princess Sakura" instantly came to mind! It's a lesser-known manga from my favorite mangaka, Arina Tanemura. While I did do a mermaid-version in the past, I wanted to do a new piece of art to pay respect to the manga.
I was so nervous with how it was coming along, trying to get the colors right, I love the details I added and the background came out so beautiful. I'm also really happy with the eyes.
