#Sting really loves non-standard time & 7/8 is just a standard song for him like 4/4 is to everyone else, but few bands do uneven time quite as smoothly in my opinion - and that's before we talk about the little stroke of genius by double-hall-of-fame drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, to put the ride cymbal alternatingly on the down & up beat. Simple, but so, so effective, I just never tire of it 🥰
