It would be good if DfI actually provided and legislated for safe spaces for walking and cycling to places of education and work, train stations, libraries, and other amenities.

On 25 June 2019 I filmed the morning "rush" hour at the toucan crossing at Ormeau Bridge, #Belfast. In 9 minutes 70 cyclists went by. This represents 19% of all traffic, excluding pedestrians. The car traffic is slow moving, and the road is considered by some metrics one of the most congested outside London.
