@defilerzero makes sense if you want to get some futuristic design that is recognizeable.

  • Kinda like #Stargate producers used the (cheap and readily available) Semi-Auto & civilian-legal Type 97 as a [not well-known outside of Canada] rifle for the Lucian Alliance…
  • After all, it looks futuristic, is cheap (could be had for ≤ $CA 1k) uses STANAG/AR-15 mags and could propably be run with 5,56mm "MovieCaps" just by setting the gas port wide open…
    • And those that didn'tget fired in action scenes were likely just 4,5mm/6mm BB versions or just slapped together plastic furniture and decorative barrels.

And unlike Killzone's M82 it's not a "Where da bolt go?" - Gun…

The latest design of case/gate has neater clearances and snaps together without glue this time. Just need some more LED controllers and mirrors. But this will leave me with a few “spare”. I think the testing of the design aspects has gone well. #stargate

The middle of the edge was done using random points in an @OpenSCAD design.

The later PCB shaves 0.5mm of PCB off the inner (and outer) ring which may make the infinity mirror work better - I'll see.
