#SingaporeAirlines said the flight had encountered #SevereAirTurbulence over the #Irrawaddy basin at 37,000 feet about 10 hours after departure. The pilot declared a #MedicalEmergency and diverted the aircraft to #Bangkok.

TIL: SQ scheint die B77W (Boeing 777-300ER) mit Sauerstoff-Tanks anstatt Generatoren ausgestattet zu haben.

Normalerweise wären in dieser Box kleine röhrenförmige metalldosenartige Kanister, die den Sauerstoff chemisch erzeugen (Laufzeit ca. 10-20 Minuten). Hier scheint er aber durch eine Leitung zugeführt zu werden.
