Sam Kennedy confirms Craig Breslow’s job is safe, but Red Sox could become deadline sellers in ‘embarrassing’ season - The Boston Globe
On WEEI, Kennedy said, "If things don’t change dramatically here over the next couple weeks, we’re going to have to pivot from our initial planning and the initial expectations.”

If anybody else needs simple #VoiceActivatedRecording in GNU/ #Linux and does not want to run GUI (e.g. #audacity, which works good for that) for any reason, here is an explanation how to do it in the command line via #SoX .

On #RaspberryPi OS #Trixie, one would be better to install libsox-fmt-all immediately with the sox itself:
@screwlisp @AmenZwa @dougmerritt You can test the high frequency response of your microphone by smashing a fork and a tablespoon together. Or two forks. Or two tablespoons. I don't remember. The more annoying, eardrum-piercing the sound is, the better. It basically has a flat spectrum into ultrasonic.
Then view the Sox spectrogram of the recording and you see if it's rolling off somewhere or going all the way to the end.
