there is no way to call San Francisco Mayor Lurie's office, his website directs you to 311 who then directs you to a different city department rather than the mayor's aid which has been the practice of previous mayors. This is a really bad way to represent the people of San Francisco.

In the last three weeks I've reported twenty-one vehicles #parking on the #sidewalk in #sanfrancisco to the City through #SF311. Each report takes about one minute to file using their crappy app.

These twenty-one reports reportedly became four citations. In thirteen cases, officers were “unable to locate” the problem, which I assume means either they either never went to look, or else did so many hours later.

Should I even keep filing these?

The trick (it seems) to getting SOMA West or DPW to actually clean my street is to rake the trash into neat piles before submitting a ticket in #SF311 .

Apparently poor old Mayor Ed Lee, who died in office 5 years ago, is responsible for the recent closure of this public restroom. (I am quite sure it was open last year.) Don't blame Mayor London Breed.

@annecrawf That's why #slowstreetnetwork is so important to me. SF sidewalks require my constant attention. They're the equivalent of an autocross course for a mobility scooter. Report cracked & unnavigable sidewalks to #SF311.
