#Birds #BirdsOfMastodon I was on a #birding trip on the island of #Neuwerk in the german wadden sea last week, and here is #BrantaRuficollis, the #RedBreastedGoose | #Rothalsgans | #RødhalsetGås. A very rare wintering migrant here, breeding in Siberia and usually wintering in the east, the westernmost wintering area being the western shores of the Black Sea. I've been a hobby birder for 50 years and this was the first time I saw it here.
