An angsty Rodimus Prime-centered fic, in which he does what he can to make amends regardless of risk to himself. This was a heartbreaking read in the best way imaginable.

The fic borrows elements from IDW and G1, and while the IDW elements were well-integrated, what really spoke to me was how the flaws of his G1 self are highlighted. He is so, so good, but he barely gives himself any credit. He's not just a good leader, but a good person, even if it might run against better judgment. His inadequacy, recklessness, selflessness—they all shine through here.

The other characters felt fleshed out and real as well, and you could see a glimpse of the world continuing to spin, proverbially, in spite of the tragedies faced. If you like Rodimus even a little, I highly reccommend giving this gem a read!

This illustration of Rodimus Convoy (Rodimus Prime) is one of my favorite drawings of the character.

It has a Studio Ox vibe to it but I'm not sure exactly if it was done in house for Takara or was repurposed from some other use.

Canon compliant fic that offers beautiful exploration of Rodimus' grief through the Matrix. The main relationship tag is for Rodimus and the Matrix, but the Matrix isn't exactly a sentient being; it's more the sum of its parts, a collection of memories and words from all the bots who bore it. Essentially playing back spoken words for related situations.

And these echoes from the past make the 'relationship' between Rodimus and his Matrix all the more impactful.

Apparently this is the only fic for the platonic ship between him and the Matrix, which is a shame. I find the concept of personifying the burden of leadership interesting, far more so than of it were simply a vessel through which the Primes communicate with him.

This is very short, but I highly recommend it. I'm a huge fan of Rodimus, and I feel like this fic really did him justice.
