“There is nothing like climbing hills for perspective.” #ringthehill
Books can arrive in your line of sight and at your house in so many unusual ways, and that's certainly the case of "Ring the Hill" by Tom Cox (first published in 2019). I was aware of his name from social media, and from having read reviews of his work on other blogs; and the recent situation with his erstwhile publisher, Unbound/Boundless, brought him onto my radar again.
I really loved this book.
I bought it in 202 p and finally was in the right mindset to read it.
Who knew a guy talking about walking the British countryside in a book could be this interesting to read.
Need to pick up his other books.
I am nearing the end of this book yet do not want it to end. I am enjoying the writing style and story-telling style so much.
