Hosono/Suzuki/Yamashita - Pacific
The same year YMO started, Hosono and crew put together Pacific, which is a guitar/synth focused record that you can imagine hearing in the distance as you sun on the beach drinking a Jet Pilot.
The music is playful and witty (and very late-70s). A fun listen.
