<sigh> and a few minutes later another resident asking for help... I went to her room and asked what she needed. Because of her dementia, I had to repeat/rephrase my question more than once before she responded.

Her: "Pain. Please turn me"

Me to staff:
"She wants to be turned in her bed"

"I was just in there. I'm sorry you have to listen to these people"

"If she is lucid enough to tell me she is in pain, I think someone should move her"

Me walking away thinking ...🤔 ...I truly hope in this universe karma exists.

edit: I checked and staff did turn her on her other side.

"The reason why <resident x> is in his bed with nothing but a pull up brief is because he needs to be changed so frequently that pulling down his pants so often......"

I cut her off and say,
"Look, I don't like him and I know the guy is a overly demanding pain the ass, but he might be cold after all he is asking for help"

"There is a blanket right next to him"

"He is recovering from surgery and he is not in his right mind"

"Youi don't need to worry about him. I think this conversation needs to end"

I walk away thinking, when I reported the very same thing to a hospital board the nurse lost her job....🤔 .....

btw, he is quiet now, resting beneath a blanket

edit: Using quote posts, I am starting a record of my observations in this facility.
Hopefully some kind person will read it and start a group to pressure the government to step up and protect seniors.
