On every single cycle, shareholders collect a portion of the money that changes hands. Eventually, workers/consumers are drained of all resources, and shareholders possess all wealth and power. Shareholders are transformed into oligarchs/aristocracy due to this power and wealth imbalance, enabling them to establish a neofeudalist society.

We have a term in computer science for when a resource escapes from a process and cannot be recovered for reuse. We call this a resource leak.
