Anyone on here know anything about cold forging in preindustrial times?
During the first wide-spread use of bikes in 1880 and the following years (up to 1920?), there must have been so many bikes for transport stuff.
Now imagine a street of terrassed homes as in Bristol.
Where did the people store their bikes?
In front of their houses (no theft)?
Carried them into their houses (inconvenient and heavy)?
Do you know some answers?
