Installed a more reliable m.2 wifi card in my laptop yesterday. When I had gone to the store to purchase it, I had asked for a "AX210 mini PCI" card and the clerk was like, "that's not something we stock". It took me hot minute to realize my mistake and then clarified that it was the m.2 card and then joked that an (802.11) "a x pcmcia" card would be fine too. Took a different approach with the JVC and replaced the also defective plug with a new cable I still had in stock while keeping the existing white cable. The Philips got a replacement cable from some defective earplugs. Let's see which one lasts longer 🙂
