Dresden S has moved
PhillGreenSo weekend plan had been two days at the #toomanygames convention followed by all-day #relicblade on Sunday, while my wife had a mother/daughter trip with my eldest daughter to Maine for orientation weekend. Earlier this week, my wife asked that I go to Maine with her. Once we figured out the logistics with my youngest and animals, I have changed my plans. As a husband and father, I am excited for the road trip. But inside me is an adolescent who is throwing a tantrum.

Now about the actual play: the game's native scenarios are notch less brutal than #Relicblade can be, but never a walkover.
In scenario 1, a deserted village crawling with zombies and giant rats, we lost one companion (named 'Idiot').
S2 was a forest with giant spiders and nest trees (two of them appearing randomly) and we literally walked over that with some very decisive #nat20 rolls. This went well>>>
@NinjaDebugger agreed. Speedpaint metallics are the only metallics I use, except I have a pot of D3 Pig Iron that I use exclusively for my #relicblade Battle Pigs, because, well, you know.

@erikcats I feel your pain. There have been a few games that I did not pick up for lack of a local community. I am so thankful to live somewhere with a thriving #relicblade community. I think we had 7-8 last night.
A bit of luck this evening - one of the guys I play #relicblade with had a large amount of #oldhammer model kits in boxes and out he wanted to get off his hands. I didn’t feel up to any kits without instructions, so I just grabbed one of each type of metal blister pack. Plan is to get set up with an airbrush and practice on these. These are all circa 2000.
Another great night of #relicblade tonight. I saw someone say that a 2x2 board isn’t immersive but come on; just look at that. My opponent put down a spear trap, which taunted the destroyer pig all game. He wanted to slam so badly, but was blocked by the trap. The hounds were very resilient and kept the pigs from claiming the treasure on the bridge until the last turn, but the pigs were victorious !
