The French do not house asylum seekers in tents. There are makeshift, illegal, tented camps, as there are all over Europe, but basically Reform are liars. Journalists should tell them so, live on air.

You couldn't make it up. Dame (but no lady) Andrea Jenkyns has pledged to get rid of all the DEI officers at Lincolnshire County Council, but it turns out they don't have any. I'm guessing that somehow they'll claim this is a success, rather than a demonstration of gross ignorance.

Also, contrary to her claims the French don't house asylum seekers in tents either, but I guess truth is irrelevant these days.
