On the boulevard, wild and free!

So, I saw that Squeeze put out a new album after a rather long time without. I wondered what was up… turns out, it's a re-fitting of an original concept album they had when they were teens, prior to them being signed.
Trixie's has been remade and altered a bit from the original demo, but it's quite good. Not the Squeeze we've known for decades, but interesting, albeit Beatles and Bowie-ish.
Worth checking out/streaming.

Closely related to yesterday’s pick of D’Angelo’s ‘Lady’,
Prince: ‘She’s Always in My Hair’

It also isn’t lost on me that the opening riff is the most Prince Riff in all of Prince Riffdom since Ready For The World.
This has been in my head all weekend.
And after the You’ll Hear It episode on Brown Sugar, I don’t think it’s leaving anytime soon…
D’Angelo Lady.
Pure lush groove

My soul has been Psychedelicised!

Leaving this here for reasons.

Maceo Parker gettin' hella funky all up in here…

#HadEnough #music #spotify #realmusicbyrealmusicians Wonderful concert last night at Celtic Connections. Capercaillie supported by a delightful group from Quebec - La Déferlance. Bought their cd 'cos that's waht you do. Right?
I have a vast collection of cds - why do i use Spotify? I need an application that allows me to add tracks from my own collection and play them on various devices. Any recommendations?
